  • Paper and Pressed Cardboard (like cereal boxes and egg cartons)
  • Aluminum Cans, Foil, and Pie plates
  • Tin Cans and all scrap metal (as long as it fits inside a barrel)
  • #1 and #2 plastics (take plastic bags to the
    supermarket, please)
  • Glass Bottles and Jars
  • Telephone Books, Hard & Soft cover books

Leave these at home!

not accepted

  • Motor oil containers
  • plastic bags
  • Corrugated Cardboard
  • styrofoam: egg cartons, logs, peanuts.. none!
  • plate glass, light bulbs, pyrex anything
  • glass serving bowls, trays, etc.
  • waxed containers, e.g. milk, soy milk, juice
  • Cellphones, Inkjet & Toner cartridges

Directions to the 1431 Transfer Station Recycling Center

Go 2.5 miles west on 1431 from Highway 183,turn north before Trails
End Rd. If you see the "HUR Industrial Blvd" sign or the "Driving
Range", you just missed it! See the photos below the map.

If you approach going east and you go too far, there will be a self
storage company off to your right.
 
2.5 miles from 183. Turn right.
The recycling center. It is just to the left of
the 1431 Transfer Station.
If you see either of these, you just missed your turn.
