Community Service Restitution: Worker Information

Ecology Action accepts CSR workers during hours of operation at our downtown location (9-5 SEVEN DAYS a week). CSR workers can only log hours during hours of operation. Ecology Action is not responsible for CSR workers' paperwork or court system issues.

Please bring your court paperwork, wear closed-toed shoes, and appropriate attire for an outside working factory. CSR workers can report to work during hours of operation and stay for as long or little as they want. CSR worker can take a 30 minute lunch break on the clock if they stay for four hours or an hour lunch break for eight hours of work. Please bring a lunch or lunch money. There is no on-site parking-please arrange for alternative transportation or bring meter money.

Minors must be 15 years old to volunteer and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to sign a waiver of liability for the first day of work. Parents/guardians can then leave. Minors can only work a total of four hours a day.

Tuesdays we have our STAFF MEETINGS from 9am-11am. If it is your first time for community service, please do not interrupt the meeting. We will sign you in for the time you arrived. During our meeting all community service volunteers can focus on cleaning the front lot until we are finished. THANKS

CSR workers will be signed out and dropped from the program if they:

• Disrespect, harass, or threaten workers, recyclers or staff
• Leave the site without notifying a staff member
• Don't stay on task consistently
• Refuse to perform a given task without valid reason (injury, disability, etc.)
• Take items from recycling bins
• Use or wear inappropriate clothing or language
