Table2Table Compost
Table2Table Compost is diverting organic waste from area landfills through composting. The program diverts food waste from area resturants. Then, we combine the food waste with diverted wood mulch. After turning this mixture for 8 weeks, We are producing roughly 9 cubic yards of composted mulch and soil each week. Currently, we are using the compost to remediate Circle Acres' soil. Our plans are to provide mulch and soil to community garden programs and bring the product to market in the new future.
Ecology Action is Austin's downtown recycling center. We are located at 9th Street and IH-35. We are open to drop recycling materials 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. (Please don't leave materials we do not take after hours). We are staffed 9am-5pm, 7 days a week except on major holidays and May Day (May 1st).
